Our Executive Director Laura A. Marshall


Executive Director Laura A. Marshall has been actively involved with Prairie Opportunity since 1981. She served as a case worker, case manager, and case manager supervisor before being promoted to her role as executive director. 


Laura A. Marshall is a graduate of Eupora High School, attended Mississippi Valley State University, and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. She then continued her education and earned her social work license from the Mississippi State Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists.


Her strong faith in God and desire to serve the community have been the backbone of her ministry and passion to help others. Laura is quick to give all glory to God for the great things He has done.  She serves in the community as a leader in her church, which she has attended for more than 48 years.
